PDA (Project Design Authority)
On behalf of our client, a global leader in complex engineering, mobility solutions, and large-scale infrastructure projects, we are seeking an experienced "Project Design Authority (PDA)" to take ownership of the technical and design aspects of railway signalling projects.
Working within a multinational and multidisciplinary engineering environment, this position will play a key role in coordinating technical activities, managing customer requirements, guiding design teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of project-specific engineering solutions in line with quality and industry standards.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
· Project Technical Management - Manage the technical aspects of projects and conduct meetings with customers.
· Technical Reporting - Prepare and present technical project reports, including progress updates, risks, and proposed solutions.
· Design Documentation - Develop project-specific design documentation for internal use and customer delivery.
· Cross-Functional Meetings - Organize and lead regular meetings with the Engineering Manager, Project Manager, and technical teams.
· Requirements Analysis - Analyse customer requirements in coordination with relevant technical departments and report outcomes.
· Field Team Support - Provide regular updates and technical guidance to field teams.
· DVA Documentation - Prepare DVA (Design Validation) documentation for bids.
· Risk & Improvement Activities - Identify risks and improvement opportunities, contributing to continuous improvement activities.
· Quality Compliance - Ensure compliance with company quality policies and related standards.
💡 Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree Requirement - At least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
· Experience in Interlocking & ERTMS/ETCS - Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in interlocking and ERTMS/ETCS systems.
· Railway Signalling Expertise - Deep knowledge of railway mainline signalling systems (design, installation, testing, and commissioning); knowledge of urban signalling systems is considered an additional asset.
· Field Operations Requirement - Experience in signalling field operations is a must.
⭐ Skills & Competencies
· Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must, Spanish is considered as an additional asset
· Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to work in a multicultural and corporate environment
· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
· High-level skills in AutoCAD and MS Office
· Basic knowledge of software systems
· No travel restriction and valid driver’s license
